These are the terms and conditions (the "Terms") for using the Design Icons at Harrods website at designicons.harrods.com (the "Website"). By using the Website you agree to be bound by the following Terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of the Website. If you do not accept these Terms then please do not use or access this Website. Please note that Harrods Ltd may change these Terms at any time by posting changes to these Website pages, and continued use of the Website implies acceptance of any changed Terms of use.

Use of the Site You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of it.

Intellectual Property All copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on the Website and all content (including all applications) located on the site shall remain vested in Harrods Ltd or its licensors (which includes other users). You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, make available to the public, or otherwise use the Website content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Website content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. The names, images and logos identifying Harrods Ltd or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of the Harrods Ltd and/or third parties. Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed as conferring any licence or right to use any trade mark, design right or copyright of Harrods Ltd or any other third party.

Breach of these Terms If you breach any of these Terms your authorisation to visit this Website automatically terminates and you must destroy any downloaded or printed materials. The failure or delay of the Harrods Ltd to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive the Harrods' right to enforce that right.

Security and Privacy Policy Please visit www.harrods.com to view our Security and Privacy Policy which applies to any information we may collect from you if you enter the Design Icons prize draw. By supplying your name and contact details in connection with this prize draw, you are accepting that Harrods Ltd may retain this information in order to offer you (by telephone, post, sms and/or e-mail) products and services that may be of interest you. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

DESIGN ICONS ONLINE PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The prize draw is open to all mainland UK residents aged 18 years and over, with the exception of employees (and their immediate families) of Harrods and agents or anyone connected with the prize draw. No purchase necessary. 2. The prize draw closes at midnight on 24 May 2008. 3. To enter the prize draw, submit your name and contact details online via the Design Icons registration form. Once registered, you will be able to vote for your favourite iconic designs and submit a question for the Design Icons lectures. 4. By supplying your name and contact details in connection with this prize draw, you are accepting that Harrods Ltd may retain this information in order to offer you (by telephone, post, sms and/or e-mail) products and services that may be of interest you. 5. Only one entry per person. 6. There will be one first prize winner and four runners-up who will receive the following prizes: (a) the first prize consists of one of our exclusive, limited-edition Posh Noodles (Poulet et Champignons flavour) together with a pair of annual memberships to the Design Museum on Shad Thames; (b) the prize for each of the four runners-up consists of a pair of annual memberships to the Design Museum on Shad Thames. 7. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 8. Any incomplete entries will be automatically disqualified. 9. An independent person will supervise the prize draw and the winners will be drawn at random from all entries on 26 May 2008. The first person drawn will be the first prize winner. The winners will be notified no later than 27 May 2008. 10. To request the name and county of the winners, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope to Marketing & Communications, Harrods Limited, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL after 27 May 2008. 11. Each winner agrees to have his/her name published as a winner and to take part in publicity arranged by or on behalf of Harrods in connection with the prize draw, including photographs and interviews. 12. The promoter is Harrods Limited. The prize draw is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. 13. By entering the prize draw, all entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
